Burpies!

A brand new addition to my shop is the burpie!

This design fits the curve of your shoulder perfectly and is reversible!

Wouldn't a matching burpie and pacifier keeper make a great gift?

 Happy Monday! :)

New Pacifier Keeper Designs

I am excited to announce that there are some new pacifier keeper designs in the shop!

Of course if you like an element one one clip but the fabric in another, just contact me and we can definitely create something custom for you!

All the clips are 100% lead free, and they have plastic teeth that prevents damage on clothing.

Of course I can take any fabric that I have available and also create a custom pacifier keeper as well.

Why not have some fun with your babies style with something that is very practical! :)

By the way my new pacifier keeper packaging just arrived and I love them!

Headbands

I am happy to now offer headbands that offer increased flexibility with any clip that I offer in my shop! These headbands are handy if you have a little one that just does not have enough hair to grip any of the standard clips, or if you are just looking to change up your little one's look!

I currently offer these headbands in black, white, brown, and red. They come equipped with a nifty extra piece of fabric so that you can slip the clip right onto it!

I sell these clips for $2 or $1.50 with the purchase of any clip in my shop!

Pacifier Keepers!

Keep the little addition in your life free from unnecessary germs by making sure their pacifier does not get accidentally dropped on the floor. My pacifier keepers are made from heavy duty clips, and can come in ribbon or any fabric I have listed in my store. These 3 pacifiers are ready to be shipped, but make sure to keep checking my store since new designs will be listed all the time!

Business Card Wallet

Carry around your business cards (or any else card sized for that matter) in style!
This card sized wallet is great to keep your business cards organized without the fear of losing any!  This particular business card wallet is made from two coordinating fabrics; I can make these in any fabric combination that I have listed in my store!

New addition "Lola" the owl!

My daughters room is a spring theme and Lola makes a great addition to her dresser. I made this particular owl out of the fabric that is in her bedding; however, I can re-create this cute addition in any fabric listed in my store, or in this fabric line in limited quantities!

Shirt designs

These are just two new designs that I have coming to the shop! Of course I can do custom orders with the colour scheme you want, in the size you need. Other designs coming soon: owl, bird, dinosaur, turtle, numbers (for birthdays) princess crowns, and more.

Like it? Re-create it!

Loralai has had quite a few items of clothing so far that have had adorable appliques, and I just have not wanted to part with them. But leaving the items sitting in the closet collecting dust and taking up space did not seem appropriate either. So I decided to cut out the appliques and set them aside for a future scrapbooking or clothing project. Well last night there was a plain pink shirt screaming fancy me up, so that is exactly what I did!

The bird applique was from a brown, mutli-coloured polka dot sleeper. I took a piece of bird fabric and made ruffles and placed the bird on top. Now as you can see the fabric is fraying but for this shirt I was going for that distressed/ perfectly imperfect look. My daughter loves it!

Custom Items

I am so lucky to have so many little ladies in my family because I have product testers aside from just my own daughter, and since I am still getting started many of my custom orders are also from family members.

The first set of photo's are of a custom order I had for my cousin who is 7 years old. She wanted a chic little hard headband piece that matched her school colours, aside from those specific requests I was allowed free reign to be creative! Although I was not able to capture my cousin wearing the headband because my poor camera battery would not cooperate, the piece looked great on her and she was so excited to wear it! So here is my daughter showing off the piece right after I finished making it.

The next item is my first attempt at a pillow case dress. I had originally wanted to create two of the same dresses for my daughter and her little cousin to wear at my Grandmother's 97th birthday but a few other items came up in the meantime that took priority, so here is the pillowcase dress on our cutie pie little cousin who turned 1 in June.

Size

I just thought that I would post a picture of my daughter wearing the fish clip since it is a fairly large clip and I wanted to let you see how it would look, so although this clip in particular would not necessarily suit a baby, my daughter is 2 and the proportions look just great!

New Clips

Here are some new additions to Sweet L Design's clippie collection. I was working like a busy bee last night and I will be making more this evening and I will be adding them all into the shop soon!

Get well soon card

My grandmother fell recently and unfortunately fractured her wrist, so my daughter and I have decided to make some items to send to her so that she knows we are thinking about her. I whipped up this simple get well card for her, now of course if you like this simple style is can be customized with different wording and colours!

Chic Wipe Case

I decided to take a plain old travelers wipe case and turn it into something that you would be excited to take out of your diaper bag while you clean up life's little messes!

This was my first attempt at covering the case so although this little beauty will not be sold in my shop (since I do have to work out a couple of kinks), just keep your eye out for them soon!

Some new designs!

Here are a few new designs I have been working on! The flower can be made in different colour fabrics and sizes to suit your needs, for example I can make one a little bigger and attach a broach pin, or keep it smaller for a headband or alligator clip! Custom orders are definitely encouraged :) These items are listed in my shop. Special thanks needs to be given to my daughter for being such a patient little model for Mommy!

Some new Items...

I made a few new clippies this afternoon and wanted to show them off!

Just imagine how adorable these would look in a little girls hair for the summer!

All clips are alligator clips adorned in different types of ribbon that has been heat sealed to prevent fraying.

An order I had been working on...

Here are some items that I created for a women named Cathy at husbands work. She has twins (19 months; one boy, one girl) and they are attending a wedding in July. Cathy's little ones are wearing black and white and wanted a little something to compliment.

Here are some of the pieces that I came up with for Cathy that although cute did not win out over the black and white polka dot flower headband:

Cathy was just an awesome client to work with! Thank you :)
